June 1, 2019 – this beautiful wedding took place at the bride’s family estate on the water in Rumson.
The bride’s style was timeless; she didn’t want anything to look too overdone. It was imperative for her to look back twenty years from now and still love everything she’d chosen for this special day. From the hand calligraphy wedding invitations, inspired by her parent’s own wedding invitation from 1985, to the very classic monogrammed napkins at each guest’s place setting for dinner. Elizabeth also wore Carolina Herrera, white pearls and the infamous blue Manolo Blahnik heels that have yet to go out of style …
The weather couldn’t have been better for their day! So we were able to thankfully host the ceremony, as planned, on the main lawn.
Following ceremony, guests were ushered to enter the home to enjoy various innovative food stations, and of course some delicious cocktails. As they found themselves walking through the grandeur of this beautiful estate, guests were led to the back patio area where they could enjoy the most amazing water view, and get a sneak peek of the reception tent!
Speeches, dances, laughter and tears of joy, it was an amazing evening that I am sure those in attendance did not want to end …
This is just the perfect Mother/Daughter capture … I can’t get enough of this photo!
Time for the first look …
And the signing of the Ketubah …
Quinn was the star flower girl … the MEW team is ALWAYS ok with dogs being incorporated into the wedding day 🙂
Mazel Tov!
For cocktail hour guests were ushered into the estate where they were greeted with champagne and wine. Handwritten calligraphed escort cards on a beautifully designed table were available for guests to find out just where they would be seated once they entered the reception tent.
Elizabeth wanted everything white, classic, and timeless. We helped tie in some modern elements like mirrored chargers and large glass candelabras, but overall the design stayed true to her vision, it was the most perfect white wedding.
The Hora is one of my favorite parts of a Jewish wedding, the overall excitement in the room is so contagious that you can’t help but feel joyful.
Some guests continued the party for the remainder of the evening in the pool house stocked with a candy bar, savory bites and of course late night cocktails!
… and for those who had celebrated enough, headed home, but not without these handcrafted sweets.
